Incubator
The thINCubator is located at 106 Genesee Street in historical Baggs Square West in downtown Utica NY. It is located here, so that it may serve the community as well as the many institutions of higher education in the Mohawk Valley. Initially funded and led by the Mohawk Valley Community College foundation, its purpose is to drive innovation and
entrepreneurship in collaboration with other educational institutions, existing entrepreneurs, support organizations, government agencies and the community. When asked: “What is the thINCubator?” they respond that it is three things:
1 People Students, entrepreneurs, mentors, coaches, support folks
2 Program A proven pathway towards venture creation and innovation
3 Place Collaborative space for entrepreneurially minded teams to grow their ideas
