The comdirect Startup Garage is the corporate accelerator program of comdirect - a Commerzbank AG brand. As a rule, our program is designed for three months. The Startup Garage was founded in 2015 and was the first accelerator program of a German bank.
Our mission is to intensively support promising ideas at an early stage in order to promote the transfer of innovation between corporates and startups and to create new business models together. We do not limit ourselves to fintech ideas, but also look for cross-industry solutions that offer our customers real added value.
In addition to ideas from the fintech industry, we are also open to ideas from other industries if we see real added value for our customers in them . We are in constant contact with our new partner Commerz Real Garage for startups in the field of proptech and basic technologies such as AI, big data or blockchain . In addition, we maintain a close exchange with Main Incubator, to whom we suggest our comdirect startup garage graduates as potential investment opportunities.
In addition, we are particularly interested in digital startups from the travel, mobility and healthcare sectors if we see added value for our vision of the smart financial companion. As a non-industry start-up from this or other industries, however, you should clearly work out your added value in this regard in your pitch deck.
