i4G, founded in 2003 operates a private state of the art building in Thessaloniki which can accommodate 20 - 25 early stage companies. The Incubator provides a start up ecosystem for young innovative companies to increase survival rates, create synergies and foster entrepreneurship and business opportunities.
i4G hosts companies coming from all
sectors of the new economy and was awarded as the «Most Promising New Science based Incubator» in the international competition held in Turin, Italy in 2005. i4G boasts significant partnerships in Greece and abroad. Companies can make use of shared areas (meeting rooms, photocopy room, computer room, restaurant) and secretarial support thus reducing their initial operating costs. Companies have also access to business, legal, accounting and IT support and basic consulting services in innovation and intellectual property by i4G.
i4G offers partnerships in national and European projects and networking abroad through Euroconsultants Group with presence in over 30 countries. Finally, of particular importance for companies is the access to finance through the seed capital fund of i4G - overall, the Incubator has invested over € 2 million in seed and early stage companies.
