Carta Series ACarta is building a global ownership management platform to help companies, investors, and employees manage their equity. Carta allows startups and pre-IPO companies to manage their cap table online. It digitizes paper stock certificates along with stock options, derivatives and warrants to create a real-time picture on who owns how much of a security in a company. Carta used this Series A pitch deck in raising capital $7M in funding. The round was led by Union Square Ventures and there were other investors such as Spark Capital, Service Provider Capital, Haystack and others.
