Angel Ventures started in 2008 as the first professionally managed angel investor network in Latin America seeking to "link great ideas with capital". It now has more than 300 members, comprised of Angel Investors and other senior executives, to co-invest in early stage, high potential companies. In 2012 the firm raised its´ first VC fund
of 20 million dollars which is invested in 21 companies. AV is now raising its second fund. This second fund is the official Pacific Alliance VC Fund with a target size of 120 million dollars to be invested in the region countries (Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru).
