GVAngels is a network of angel investors founded by former students of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), Brasil in 2017. The GVAngels network invests in technology startups that aim to solve inefficiencies in large markets.
In these 4 years of operation, investments have already been made in 40 startups and checks have averaged from R$800,000 to R$2
million. We currently have more than 300 associates with a personal interest in investing in startups and adding knowledge with their expertise and experience through smart money to our investees.
GVAngels has its roots in the School of Business Administration at FGV, where most of the associated angel investors graduated. For 11 consecutive years, the university has been considered the best think tank in Latin America and has been ranked among the best institutions in the world since 2004.
