OPC Venture Fund I LP invests in early-stage technology companies in undercapitalized markets with exceptional founders and transformative technologies that solve complex and costly problems in large, inefficient global industries. The fund typically invests between $750k and $1.5mm in seed stage companies in the Southeast and other undercapitalized markets across the US. Selected industries of interest to the fund include advanced materials, agriculture, animal health, clean energy, cybersecurity, healthcare IT, industrial, financial and insurance, and real estate and construction, and water technologies. The fund prefers to invest in companies led by traditionally underrepresented founders and that generate strong positive social and environmental externalities. Oval Park does not invest in human therapeutics, medical devices, or any social or other media companies.
